The Houston Chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) is proud to offer
10 scholarships (9 - $1000 and 1- $2000) this year in commemoration of our 10th anniversary
of the Shirley A. DeLibero Scholarship Fundraising Reception.  

The scholarships will be awarded to high school, community college/Technical School and college
students who are currently pursuing, or who plan to pursue careers in a transportation related fields of
study or discipline.  This includes areas such as: business, engineering, construction, planning, finance,
marketing, human resources, information technology, legal, real estate, aviation, supply chain
management, electronics, applicable technology fields, mechanics, technicians, etc. The Houston
COMTO Chapter’s Scholarship Committee reserves the right to make the final determination regarding
the applicant’s chosen area of study being related to the field of transportation.
